Catfish is a navy blue catfish-type Pokémon. Its lips, caudal fin and dorsal fin are light blue, the latter also being adorned with three black dots. It also has two long, yellow whiskers and a yellow coloring on the forehead, which resembles the letter 'W'.
Catfish is a slow but relatively resilient Pokémon. On approaching enemies, it wriggles so violently that it unleashes earthquakes five kilometers in range. However, if they get too close, it mainly uses special moves and will attack them with mud, using the water-type Mud Broth or the ground-type Mud Snare.
