You're looking right: This isn't a trio, but a single little guy, namely the Pokémon Magneto. Magneton is to be regarded as a collective of three Magnetilo. All three bodies consist of a spherical torso with a round eye in the center. Magnetons are particularly prevalent near large power lines and power plants, where they feed on electricity.
This Pokémon is very widespread together with its evolution line, so that it is at home in all regions known so far. This Pokémon appears more frequently when Spots appear on the Sun for reasons unknown.
