Mewtwo's appearance is basically based on Mew's, but is much more humanoid in structure. Mew's pink fur has given way to a light purple skin, and the much heavier tail, which extends into its belly, is a shade of purple.

As a Legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo has no special habitat. Nevertheless, it can be found in most games in the Azuria cave. In general, there is a tendency for it to appear primarily in caves. This reclusive way of life can be traced back to Mewtwo's origins in which it was endowed without a compassionate heart and thus has no problem with cold, isolated places.
